The Centre For Women & Co. understand the importance Perpetrator Intervention Programs play in supporting families experiencing or who have experienced DFV. We seek to address the abusive behaviour of individuals who perpetrate domestic and family violence and provide them with opportunities to change. Our centre is funded to provide a men’s program across the Redlands region to prioritise the safety of those subject to the controlling and abusive behaviour of Service Users.

We have invested in delivering the best practice and evidence based approaches to reducing re-offending which has emerged from the ‘what works’ literature. The Ken McMasters program - Disrupting Family Violence and Moving Closer to Family Wellbeing is the program we deliver 3 times each week.

This group behaviour change programs is available to men aged over the age of 17 years who have used domestic and family violence in their intimate relationships. This group includes men that have been directed to the service through the justice system, including courts and Queensland Corrective Services. The Centre For Women & Co. aim to assist men to address their own use of domestic and family violence and other destructive patterns in their personal lives and relationships.

We also provide women’s advocacy to participant’s partners or ex-partners throughout the program and post program.

To find out more information about the men’s program please call the Redlands office on 3050 3060.
