HEALING TOGETHER WORKSHOP SERIES
Join us in a safe, free and confidential group for mothers who are recovering from Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) experiences, who may or may not have children in their care and are not residing with the person using violence.
through educational, supportive and therapeutic activities, the group will:
Empower mothers to gain knowledge and understanding of the impacts of DFV on their children
Share knowledge on how to respond to children’s emotional needs, and take steps towards connection and recovery
Enable social connection and support mothers to engage in self-care and self-compassion, as well as accessing other services that mothers identify as essential.
Series Overview
Workshop one begins to explore the way your brain develops and responds to life experiences.
Workshop two centres around attachment and how this can be fostered between you and your child or children.
Workshop three acknowledges the challenges of co-parenting, changes in family systems and grief and loss.
Workshop four focuses on connecting with empathy and connection-based parenting strategies.
